Making A Purchase

To make a purchase go to the page that contains the product you wish to buy. On the righthand side enter the amount you wish to purchase and then click on the add to basket button. Repeat this for all the items you wish to purchase. You can view your basket of purchases at any time by clicking on the basket logo in the top righthand corner.

Once you have finished shopping go to your basket and click proceed to checkout. Complete the boxes required and tick to agree to the Terms & Conditions. Then you will checkout via Stripe's secured payment system which accepts most major debit and credit cards. Once these steps have been completed you will receive confirmation of your order via email.

If I am unable to fulfil your order for any reason I will contact you to discuss what to do.

If after placing an order you find you have made a mistake please contact me as soon as possible. Mistakes can only be rectified if the product has not been cut to length and/or posted.

You will received a dispatched email once your order has been posted.

Delivery Information

I post throughout the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) and Channel Islands. Most parcels are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For service, when checking out you can chose the 24 or 48 hour service. For large or overweight parcels I use Parcel Force.

Please double check your address details as any parcel that is not delivered and/or returned to me due to incorrect address information or non collection will not be re-posted until the additional postage has been paid.

Royal Mail aims to deliver within 2 to 3 working days, but please allow 15 working days for delivery before contacting me. This is the timescale quoted by Royal Mail before they will allow a claim for non-delivery

For orders received before 6pm I aim to despatch the next business day (Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays) . Orders placed after 6pm on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will not be despatched until Monday. All orders are subject to availability.

Postage charges are calculated by weight.  I reserve the right to notify you if the postage is significantly higher than the postage rate indicated due to the bulk and/or weight of the item being posted. In this case I will email you with a revised postage cost and ask you confirm that you wish to proceed with the order. An invoice for the additional postage will be emailed to you if you agree to proceed with the order.

Pre Order Policy

I sometimes list new items and/or fabric lines before their release date on Quilter's Stash website. These products are identified by the wording PRE ORDER in the product title. I also include an estimated date of delivery but this is subject to change as delivery is often delayed and out of my control.

If you wish to place a pre order you can do this in the normal way and payment will be taken in full at the time of placing the order.

Please make a note on your order if you need your PRE ORDER held due to your not being at the delivery address (eg holiday, moving house) around the estimated date of delivery. Additional postage will be charged for any undelivered parcels returned to Quilter's Stash. Your parcel will not be re-posted until the additional postage is paid in full.

Important information

Please purchase pre order items separately from in stock items. If you combine them with items currently in stock your entire order will be posted when the pre order products are in stock.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to me. I keep your personal details securely and will never pass them on to anyone else.

I information I may collect about you is your name, company name, telephone number, email address and the postal address you provided. All of this information was provided by you when you made a purchase via my website.

This information is required to process your order and the data is kept secure and is never passed or sold onto anyone or any company.

Cookies:

Cookies are small files which are placed on your computer's hard drive by using the website. Cookies help this website to analyse traffic and visitors and help the site respond to you as an individual. 

Links to other websites:

I occasional have links to an external website page e.g. link to quilt pattern for a fabric kit. If the link is to a website that is operated by a third party you should know that I have no control over that website and as such cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of your data or information you provide whilst visiting that site. 

Cancellation and Refund policy

Before returning an item you need to contact me via email to obtain a returns authorisation stating the reason for the return. Any returned good must be in an unused saleable condition, if this is not how they arrive back to me I will not be able to issue a refund. I cannot accept any returns for fabric and haberdashery etc cut to your ordered length. Printed patterns cannot be return in order to protect the intellectual property of the designer.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the items to me unless I have delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is faulty. Please package the items appropriately so they are not damaged in the post enclosing the authorisation code and reason for return. I recommend insuring your returned item for the full value as I am unable to refund you if the item is lost or damaged in the post. You have 14 days from the day after delivery to return the item.

Note special orders and pre orders cannot be cancelled or refunded as they are ordered specifically to your order requirements.
